Brampton – Officers from the Homicide Bureau have taken carriage of an investigation into an incident which took the life of an 83 year-old Brampton man.
On February 14th, 2013, an altercation took place between Beres GRAYSON (83 years) and 32 year-old Nathanial HUNTER at their residence on Earth Star Trail in Brampton. During the altercation GRAYSON sustained injuries that resulted in his being rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital, where he remained in critical condition and on life support. Nathanial HUNTER was arrested on scene and charged with Aggravated Assault.
On February 27th, 2013, Mr GRAYSON passed away due to his injuries. The Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau have now assumed control of the investigation. Officers will be consulting with the Crown regarding upgrading the charge against HUNTER during his scheduled in-custody court appearance in Brampton on Friday March 1st, 2013.
